A guide to Canadian special branch
badges
A friend of mine recently sent me a copy of an identification sheet for all the
enamelled special branch badges introduced by the Canadian Army in 1974. I thought
Id pass this information on to you here. Although most of the symbolism is fairly
straightforwardscales of justice for legal services, etc.the use of a beaver
for military engineers struck me as one of those truly creative ideas thats so
rarely seen in military insignia.
