United States Marine Corps enlisted man’s visor cap (WWII)
This cap belonged to a Marine Corps sergeant who served in both WWII and Korea. The color is a tad darker and more gray than the current USMC hats and the wool is of fairly course quality. By the way, The Marine Corps officially calls hats "covers, dress" but since the rest of the world calls them hats, I've done so, too.

The careful observer will note that the rope coils around the anchor a little differently on enlisted badges and officer's badges. Enlisted badges feature a stamped, one-piece construction.
