| Skokie police visor cap (Chicago area) American police caps don’t seem to turn up all that often, so I was delighted when I found this one in a thrift shop in Chicago. I think the “S.P.” stands for “Skokie Police” (a northern suburb) but I’m not sure. Can anyone come with a better suggestion? Interestingly enough, I saw the same badge advertised on ebay, but the seller (from Chicago) didn’t know much more than I did. |
