| Third Reich fire/police officer’s cap Although the early style small eagle from the 1934-36 period is genuine, I suspect that the cap is a reworked West German cap. That said, the coloring (dark blue crown, black velvet band, and violet piping) is a near perfect match for WWII-vintage police caps from the Gehlis district. Thanks to John in New York. |
