Derby
Back in the days when I was playing ragtime piano in pizza parlors (as well as less-reputable places), this was my hat. It’s collected a lot of good tips in its day. A similar style, with a slightly smaller brim, the bowler, used to be the symbol of London's stockbrokers and bankers, but today, is only seen on the heads of Guards officers in civilian attire. Originally popularized by the Earl of Derby in the early 1800s, the name "bowler" came into use after Bowler & Son in London, began producing the style in about 1850.
