Germany - DDR   East German “Vopo” general’s visor cap As I’ve explained elsewhere, I’ve never been particularly fond of the Vopos. This cap is interesting in that it was worn extensively by a fellow who seems to have had fairly greasy hair—most of the high-ranking DDR stuff available is “unissued,” which always makes me suspicious. It would be interesting to find out who wore this cap, but I have no idea how to research this. Suggestions are welcome. Thanks to Bill in Delaware—who doesn’t know any more about the cap than I do.
