| U.S. Army general’s garrison cap You don’t see too many of these around—except those that have been pieced together by enthusiastic collectors. Most of the fakes are made by adding a star or two to a standard officer’s cap. However, the piping (cord) on an officer’s cap is gold and black, whereas this genuine cap has the all-gold piping used by general officers. Sorry, I haven’t found out whose cap this is yet.
