| German police officer’s cap (Baden-Würtemburg) A fairly typical older German police officer’s cap from the state of Baden-Würtemburg, which is located just west of Bavaria—Stuttgart is in Baden-Würtemburg. Note the interesting cap badge, which has no lower points on the star so the cap cords can sit properly. I’ve been told that this style was popular in the mid-70s, but has since been replaced by the green cap with a flat green chinstrap.
