| Chinese police officer (Gong An) The Chinese police force is divided into two main branches, of which this cap represents the Gong An. The Gong An, which has olive green uniforms, is the higher of the two levels and is responsible for cime prevention, traffic (including air, rail, and highway patrol), and Hu Kou (residency) management. The summer issue caps have a mesh capband at the rear—this cap is for all the other seasons. My sincere thanks to Xiaoxiao for finding this terrific cap for me. |
