Danish Army NCO’s visor cap (M52)
When new uniforms were introduced in 1952, the old style cap badges were retained, but the color and texture of the cloth changed and visors became cloth covered. This particular cap belonged to my son-in-law’s father, Hans Werner Klausen, who was an “oversergeant” back in 1961-62. This rank doesn’t have a direct equivalent in other armies, but roughly falls between a master sergeant and a sergeant major. My sincerest thanks, HW, for this great cap!
