Denmark   Danish State Railways conductor’s visor cap (current) Some psychologists discovered that the rise of vandalism on the busses and trains was partly due to the lack of authority conveyed by the awful brown uniforms (see above). Dark blue was determined to be a much more effective color, so new uniforms were designed by the well-known Danish clothing designers, Margit and Erik Brandt. Here’s one of the new caps. “DSB” stands for “Danske Statsbaner,” which is the Danish State Railways. Luffe, one of our company drivers, gave me this one.
