United States   “Yellow Cab” visor cap A crazy Dane I knew, Jack Lind, was a terrific newspaper journalist specializing in the jazz scene. Whenever things got too hectic for his liking, he took off for San Francisco where he drove a cab. His longest “vacation” was from 1967-1985 and he knew the city on the bay as well as anyone around. When Politiken, the big Copenhagen daily, decided to do a story about him, a cap like this was used as an illustration, sitting on the hood (bonnet) of a bright yellow Chevy.
