Soviet Armored Corps officerís service cap
Iíve been told that this cap isnít supposed to exist, but here it is! What makes it unusual is the velvet cap band, which signifies the Armored Corps, as opposed to other technical services. Ordinarily a velvet band is only seen on the parade version. Although the date has long since worn off, the soldierís name is written inside and the cap shows clear signs of use, so its originality is beyond question. Found this at a flea market here in Copenhagen for next to nothing.
