| Danish State Railways senior official’s cap (1950s) Although most of my caps are military, I really do love older railway caps—and this one is a classic. It’s for a fairly senior official, as indicated by the double oak leaves just below the Danish national cockade. The bullion badge alone is something rather out of the ordinary. Probably dating from the mid-fifties, the cap may actually be somewhat older since it has the very wide crown that came into use just after WWII. |
