Italy   Yacht cap “Venezia” Here’s a little present from my good pal Al in Pensacola, Florida. Although it’s a pretty typical yacht cap, the printed band with the word “Venezia” is kind of interesting. My collecting buddy Alex in Venice, Italy informs me that these caps are sold in every souvineer shop in the city. The big question for me is, why would anyone want a yacht cap as a souvineer instead of a gondolier's hat, which is much more typical Venetian headgear. Hmm. That reminds me: I must ask Alex if he can find one for me!
