British brigadiersís visor cap (WWII)
I think this cap probably has an interesting story to tell. The buttons on the side feature the cipher of George V, which would indicate that itís pre-1936. However, newspapers carefully folded inside the sweatband are dated 1942, so my theory is that the owner may have been recalled to active service after a period of retirement and resized the hat at that time. The badge (in bullion) is unique for brigadiers and colonels. Thanks to Mike in London for this one.
