Danish Army field-grade officer’s visor cap (M23)
Here’s something of a rarity since the coarse cloth on this hat shows that it is a pre-1939 model cap—and in outstanding condition at that. The three oak leaves and two acorns on either side of the center button show that this was for a field-grade officer (captain, lt. colonel, and colonel. The rank of major did not exist back then). General officers had more oak leaves and acorns, company-grade officers had fewer.
